The Castillos are a respectable, well adjusted Puerto Rican family, or at least that’s what they’d like you to think. On the morning of Noemi’s 17th birthday, her Gramma reveals a secret that forces the family to confront the colorist and sexist power dynamics that have long ruled their household.
